Our Constitution provides for the following Classes of membership â€“
A wide range of community. Industry, government agencies and local government with a stake in the use and management of the Catchments Natural Resources are eligible to seek Associate Membership.
Are appointed by the Associate Members, have voting rights and represent their Stakeholder Group at meetings of the Association.
Persons with particular skills, interests or attributes relevant to Natural Resource Management may be appointed as Special Members with full voting rights.
Ordinary members of long standing may be awarded Life Membership with full voting rights.
Individuals who have an interest in the objectives of the Association but who are not eligible for other categories of membership may seek Individual Membership with rights to attend meetings of the AssociationÂ but not to vote.
Our current membership covers the following Stakeholder Categories â€“
Aquaculture, Bananas, Beef and Grain, Canegrowing, Commercial Fishing, Dairying, Forestry, Horticulture.
Commerce / Service industries, Manufacturing and Processing – Coastal. Manufacturing and Processing â€“ Tablelands.
DAFF, Commonwealth Department of Defence, DNRM, GBRMPA, WETMA.
CommunityLandcare â€“ Lower catchment, Landcare â€“ Upper catchment, Conservation, Indigenous, Recreational.
Cassowary Coast Regional Council, Tablelands Regional Council.
Members with Special Qualifications
General Meetings of the Association are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month alternating at venues in Malanda and Innisfail.
